Built Construction Group is a Wellington-based building firm specialising in residential, commercial & project management

Built Construction Group was established in 2014 when Matthew Pankhurst, a qualified carpenter and licensed building practitioner with a diploma in building and construction management took the next step to progress his career in construction, which started back in 2002 as an apprentice carpenter in Wellington.
Today, a dedicated team of full time staff are committed to delivering numerous projects at any one time specialising in residential renovations, residential new builds, residential developments, shopfitting, seismic upgrades and commercial developments.

Built Construction Group is committed to excellence. As a team, we aim to provide an efficient, friendly and affordable service that is personal and client orientated. We pride ourselves on offering top class service that all parties are satisfied with.

Matthew Pankhurst

Managing Director

Matthew has been building in Wellington for nearly 25 years and brings a deep, practical understanding of construction. He is a Qualified New Zealand Carpenter and holds a current Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) license in Carpentry, Site 1, Site 2, and Site 3, allowing him to confidently manage both residential and commercial construction. With extensive experience and fluency in construction processes, Matthew is equipped to lead teams, navigate complex builds, and ensure the highest standards are maintained on every job. 

With an easy going attitude, and general positive outlook on life.  Projects become easy for all parties involved.
